A fantastic venue where you can enjoy the finer side of dining, drinking and music.
The beautiful heritage listed building was sculptured in 1886 and has spent its years with a multitude of personalities from government offices, to housing an Order of Capuchin Fransciscan Fathers. The interior features elegant yet calm lines that encompasses three major focuses - light, sound and motion. All of which evolve from day to night and allows its followers to see its many personalities at various times. The nights see an ember aura radiate through Cream-Valencia marble which glows at night, yet is very tame by day. Other features include the ladies pampering room and the goods lift that comes through the mens room.

The George St. Alfresco:
The outside dining area lends itself well to an informal gathering. Watch the parade of Brisbane's bustle with voyeuristic glimpses into the Jorge Bar.

Sugar Suite:
Housed in a restored ballroom fitted with an eclectic mix of classically elegant fittings and funky lounge furniture. Bold bronze pillars, a striking marble bar and a bevy of seductive ottomans create an impressive yet inviting atmosphere. Complementing this, a stunning disco ball lit with candles and tea lights reflects a warm, funky glow throughout the suite.
Three different rooms challenge traditional thinking inventing new fields to play in. In the Sugar Suite you will find just the place you are looking for, be it to lounge, experience new sounds or to secret yourself away in its many hiding places. Although housed in the same building as Jorge, the Sugar Suite is a separate space housing it's own bar and DJ booth. Inside you will discover refined, chilled sounds and custom-made lounges to sink into.
Mezzanine:
Ottoman seating and low slung rounded polished steel tables compliment the superb view of the marble bar and guests on the lower level. Entrance is complimented by towering stainless steel poles rising from ground floor to ceiling. Cosy styling, perfect for casual events.
Gold Room:
Exotic lighting and sumptuous divan style lounging add comfortable sophistication to this impressive and friendlyspace. Modern Retro with a touch of Austin Powers, this room is the final ingredient for your cocktail party of up to 20 of your VIP guests.
